Thermal mineral water of exceptional chemical composition and characteristics is what Banja Ždrelo is generally known for. The water comes from a depth of 180m, its temperature exceeds 80℃. Since it passes through the cold layers of the earth, it reaches and maintains a constant temperature of 40℃ both in the summer and in the winter.

Why are they good?

The investigated water from the “Terme Ždrelo” well near Petrovac na Mlavi belongs to the category of oligomineral waters due to its low concentration of dissolved solids, which is less than 1 g/l. Its total mineralization is 0.5756 g/l, and the dry residue at 180°C is 0.258 g/l, indicating very low mineralization.

The dominant cations are calcium, magnesium, and sodium, while the main anion is bicarbonate. The amounts of these ions are negligible in relation to the overall mineralization of the water.

According to the conducted analyses, the water is successfully used for therapeutic purposes as an auxiliary means in the treatment of rheumatism, consequences of trauma, and post-fracture conditions, as well as in the treatment of skin diseases. When cooled, it can be consumed and helps with gastritis.

More than just a pool

Aqua park Terme Ždrelo

Terme Ždrelo, a unique aqua park in Serbia, operates all year round, in water with a temperature of 30 to 40 degrees. Terme Ždrelo has 9 pools – 4 closed (2 for adults and 2 for babies) and 5 open pools – as well as one pool with salt water.

In order to get a group ticket, you need at least 10 people and an announcement at least 1 day before. For groups of 25 or more people, TWO people have free entry (25+2). For groups of 40 or more people, TWO people have free entrance and lunch (40+2). For more information, call 062 244 197.
Starting from July 1st, 2024, for organized groups arriving by van with 15 or more people, the driver will receive a free lunch and one wellness wristband. For groups arriving by bus with 40 or more people, both the driver and the group leader will receive a free lunch and two wellness wristbands as a gift.
Starting from July 1st, 2024, the rental of sunbeds will be mandatory at a price of 200 RSD per piece, with either a group or regular ticket. Only children up to 2 years old are exempt from paying for sunbeds. All others must pay, without exception.
